Burning Man 2004

Burning Man 2004. I camped with Bioluminati. This was my first year taking photos with a digital SLR camera, a Nikon D70. Since my website is "playafoot.com", I focused on feet and shoes/boots. Playafoot is the unpleasant condition that happens to your feet when you spend too much time exposing them to alkali dust and nasty dry desert conditions. However, I think of "playafoot" as the dusty, interesting-looking feet that you get from being at Burning Man all week. Many people paint their toes or otherwise decorate their feet.

I also took tons of fire photographs. One of the flame photos I took this year was purchased for the album cover of a British Band Turin Brakes.
